1979 Joe Perry & Brad Whitford of Aerosmith for Bill Lawrence pickups & strings
Aerosmith
Joe Perry and Brad Whitford use exclusively Bill Lawrence pickups & strings.
Shown: L-90XL - Replacement pickup developed and built in Germany in 1968 by Bill Lawrence and reissued in 1977.
L-100 - Reissue of the 1965 Bill Lawrence two sound pickup - the first hot replacement pickup ever made.
L-220 - Built in 1971 in Bill's Custom Guitar Shop in New York City, the L-220 is the first humbucking replacement pickup for the Stratocaster.
Bill Lawrence, well-known in the music industry as the first to build high performance professional replacement pickups. Lawrence pickups. Today, the replacement for other replacement pickups. Available exclusively at musical instrument dealers.

As rock 'n' roll churns toward the millennium, there are few guitar greybeards as consistently vital as Aerosmith's joltin' Joe Perry. Having virtually influenced a generation singlehandedly himself, Perry is never shy about tipping his cap toward his own youthful heroes.
